TapyTales tags open the web tracker in your phone's browser — no app store, no downloads.
- iPhone XS and newer read tags right from the lock screen — tap the tag, tap the notification, and the tracker opens. NFC is always on; nothing to enable.
- NFC-enabled Android phones work too — turn NFC on in settings and tap with the screen on and unlocked.
- No app installation required. A free TapyTales account and a one-time sign-in on each phone is all you need.
- An internet connection is needed to open the tracker and save your logs.
- Every activity can also be logged manually in the tracker at app.tapytales.com — tapping a tag is the shortcut, never the only way.
Safety first
- NFC tags are small parts and can be a choking hazard — keep them out of children's reach at all times.
- Mount tags in adult-accessible spots only: shelf height or wall level, never inside or on the crib, bassinet, or anywhere your baby can grab.
- Check tag adhesion periodically and re-secure or replace any tag that comes loose.
- TapyTales is a convenience and record-keeping tool, not a medical device or a baby monitor — always follow your pediatrician's guidance.
