Terms of Service

Welcome to TapyTales. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, our NFC tags, and our companion app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. The Service is intended for adults — you must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase.

What TapyTales is

TapyTales pairs physical NFC tags with a companion app. You place tags where baby care happens, and tapping one with your phone logs an activity — feeds, diaper changes, sleep, medication, milestones, and custom routines — to a timeline you can share with caregivers you invite. Tags require a reasonably recent NFC-capable phone (iPhone 7 or newer, or a modern Android device).

TapyTales is not medical advice

TapyTales is a convenience and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your pediatrician or another qualified health professional with questions about your child’s feeding, sleep, growth, or health, and never delay seeking care because of something logged or shown in TapyTales. In an emergency, contact emergency services immediately — do not rely on the Service.

Orders, pricing & payment

• Prices are shown at checkout in your store’s currency and may change over time. Launch and promotional pricing applies as described at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed securely through our e-commerce provider. By placing an order, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and complete.
• An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance — we may cancel orders affected by pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock limits, and we’ll refund anything you’ve paid for a cancelled order.
• Product images and descriptions are illustrative and may differ slightly from what arrives in the box.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ data.

Your content stays yours

The logs, notes, and other content you create in TapyTales belong to you. You grant us only the limited license we need to store, display, and sync that content so the Service works — for you and for the caregivers you invite. We don’t use your logs for advertising and we don’t sell them. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Our content

The TapyTales name, logo, website, app, and all related content, designs, and software are owned by TapyTales or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

Warranty disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every tap will register on every phone in every case or position.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapyTales will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Ending or changing the Service

You can stop using TapyTales and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We may also update these Terms from time to time — changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
